dc.description.abstract | Air conditioning maintenance is done to ensure the air conditioning is in good condition. The duration of air conditioning cleaning varies according to the user consumption rate and the residential position. This can be facilitated with an ‘aircond dust sensor’ where this device can tell the appropriate time for the user to maintain air conditioning. This Aircond Dust Sensor is made of dust sensor, power bank and buzzer. The buzzer will sound within five seconds when the dust sensor detects dust to notify the user to maintain air conditioning. Users will also receive a message in the telegram application telling the user to clean the air conditioning filter if the product is connected to the Wi-Fi network. The problem statement is the difficulty of knowing the right time to maintain air conditioning. The objective of this study is to make it easier for users to know the right time to clean the air conditioner. The questionnaire was conducted using a form made to collect data on aircond used by the residents of PRIMA U1. The results of the study found that 7 out of 10 respondents find it difficult to know that the air conditioning air filter is dirty and they accept the existence of this product. They also always maintain their air conditioner when it has been 2 months of use. air conditioner. This product is also sensitive to smoke. This project can be improved by reducing the size of the product to make it easier for users to install aircond dust sensors on air conditioning filters | en_US |
