dc.description.abstractIn the current era, the use of wood in construction work is increasing rapidly in urban and rural areas. This is because the wood are used as a supportstand to hold the beam until the beam reaches maturity but the use of wood as a support stand causes the waste at the construction site. This is because the nature of the wood itself is not durable and can only be used once. Plus, the wood is also easily damaged due to changes in weather and time period to complete a wooden support stand is taking time and complicated. So, this study aims to identify the effectiveness of hollow steel support stand of beam in a construction building. As a solution, this wooden support stand is replaced with another material designed such as hollow steel as a support stand. This study was conducted to create a product that is a support made of hollow steel, test the strength of hollow iron supports in the laboratory and to find out the time taken for the installation of hollow steel. There are several processes in the production of this hollow iron support stand. Such as produce a design, study the price, type and material suitable for use. Next, find a location to do the process of producing this support tool such as measuring and cutting the hollow steel, drilling holes in the hollow steel, attaching all the parts to the support tool and finally finishing the support tool.en_US
