The issue of environmental pollution is one of the issues of great concern nowadays which stems from the garbage disposal. As an introduction to the Smart Recycle Bin (SRB), we created it to make it easier for people to use the recycling bins, design ergonomic bins, and hope with this invention can cultivate the community to prefer to use the recycling bins provided. In addition, this is among the problem statements involving bins that the existing bins do not have a compressor and lid, the existing bins are easily opened by animals and high cost is also an issue that causes most people to do not to want to segregate garbage. Among the objectives in the implementation of this project is to design a recycling bin complete with a compressor and to design a bin lid that is not easily opened by animals. The methodological process includes questionnaires, studies as well project design, material identification, and installation of project components. Based on the results our products can only be used for waste materials such as plastic bottles and cans. The waste will be compressed into bins. It took 3 seconds to melt it. Plastic bottles compress faster than cans. In conclusion, this project is very useful because it can provide facilities to the community in preserving the environment.en_US
