LAMPU ISYARAT KAWALAN MUDAH ALIH

Abstract

‘Lampu Isyarat Kawalan Mudah Alih’ replaces the flag holder that controls the route while road maintenance is being carried out and aims to prevent injuries and accidents where the flag holder is at high risk while on duty. The statement of the problem is the extensive use of manpower in controlling traffic conditions, the visibility of drivers is less clear to see the signals given by the traffic controllers on duty, and to avoid accidents due to human negligence. The objective of the study is to avoid accidents among the flag bearers on duty, easy to operate, and make it easier for road users to get traffic signals more clearly. This study was conducted using boring questionnaires, observations and interviews as instruments to 10 employees at the maintenance site at LRT 3 Glenmarie. The findings of the study show that 75% of respondents stated that traffic controllers are at high risk for injury during the course of their duties and 85% of respondents agreed to the presence of this ‘Lampu Isyarat Kawalan Mudah Alih’ product for the benefit of flag bearers. Some suggestions have been submitted by Roadcare Sdn. Bhd so that our project needs to be improved. Amog them is the content project needs to change the LED shaped traffic light to the errow system as well as need to increase the use of sensor system that are on the road and need to install light or spotlights in the contruction zom.
