Abstract: Fire is the main cause of most incidents that happened at home. According to the statistic, most of the death cases that happened because of the fire was due to the victims being trapped in the building. This happened mainly because most of the building owners install the window’s barrier. Those installed barriers are the main reason the window cannot be the emergency escape route. Therefore, we took the initiative to build a system where the window could be use as the emergency escape route. Among the problem statements that we can find is the smoke that could be the main reason of suffocating to death, no other alternatives to escape except the door and the lack of sensitivity of the occupant in the house when the incidents happened. The purpose of inventing this system is to provide an opening to the building so that the amount of smoke can be reduce. Apart from that, we ought to make the window as the emergency escape route to get out of the fire and to detect the presence of smoke or gas way faster. Next, the methodology that we used are qualitative and quantitative. For quantitative, we collected the data by using Google Form which we gave out questions to the respondents. For qualitative, the data that we collected were based on our field study which are the interviews from the firefighters and the research from printed materials. The finding obtained through our study shows the detailed overview of an object or situation in statistic. Other than that, we also found produce findings and conclusions about an issue and problem related to the study and be able to provide an initial overview of possible solutions to a problem. The project improvements that can be done is an increase in the sensitivity of the sensor to detect the presence of gas or smoke. And lastly, to increase the speed of the motor that is able to provide more power.
