Abstract: | Jack is a type of device that uses screw threads or hydraulic cylinders to generate high linear power in order to lift heavy loads. There are many types of jacks that have been created and are available in the market such as mechanical jacks, hydarulic jacks, thread jacks and smoke jacks. Car jacks usually use mechanical power to allow humans to lift vehicles with their own manual power and difficult to operate by the elderly and women. Designing and innovating existing car jacks allows human to use car jacks easily and safely. The objective of this study is to alleviate the burden of consumers, especially women and the elderly and to create a better security system. The methodology used begins with identifying problems that are often experienced by manual jack users. Scientific studies related to jacks are done to find out about jacks. Next, the process of generating ideas and design is done to solve the problems that occur. The projects built are analyzed in order to know how to operate properly. The project is tested according to the set operations. Improvement process will be done to ensure the project is completed without any problems. The expected results from this project are in the hope that the problems that occurred before can be solved with the production of this project. Consumers are also expected to receive this electric jack technology in line with current technological advances and be able to provide a positive response for this project |
